embecta Micro-Fine™ Plus DEMI is the current name of the syringe many people still call BD Micro-Fine™ Plus DEMI. In 2022 BD Becton Dickinson spun off its diabetes division into embecta; the technology, the manufacturing and the REF codes stayed the same.
The DEMI model has a 0.3 ml barrel with a 2-unit scale and a permanently attached 30G needle (0.30 x 8.0 mm), which keeps the residual volume in the syringe to a minimum. The needle has a patented silicone coating. The plunger seal is latex-free, and the scale markings are bold and high-contrast.
Materials: polypropylene barrel and plunger, synthetic latex-free rubber seal, silicone lubricant. Supplied sterile, for single use only, 100 pieces per pack.
