Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)

How It Works

Install the sensor

Most CGM sensors are tiny, self-contained devices that lie partially under the skin. They come with a liner and have a built-in adhesive that helps them stick to your skin.

Collect data

The sensor measures glucose levels at regular intervals and saves readings

Scan with a reader or smartphone

The handheld reader allows you to scan the glucose sensor to collect information. You can use the smartphone app to avoid carrying an extra device with you

Our Mission

We created goodsugar to provide the opportunity to buy the right medical supplies for diabetics without leaving home. We want to popularize the continuous glucose monitor (CGM) using the Abbott Freestyle Libre and Dexcom because they are more convenient than a traditional blood glucose meter

Useful Information

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems in Ukraine

GoodSugar offers modern continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems for people with diabetes. Our range includes FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus, FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus, Dexcom G7, Dexcom G6, and Dexcom ONE+ sensors, as well as the Omnipod 5 pump system and related accessories. You can buy a CGM in Ukraine with delivery to any region.

How does a CGM sensor work?

The sensor attaches to the back of the upper arm using a thin, flexible filament that measures glucose levels in the interstitial fluid. A single sensor lasts up to 15 days and requires no routine finger pricks throughout the wear period. Readings are automatically sent to your smartphone, where they are displayed as an easy-to-read graph with alerts for critically high and low values.

This is the main advantage of CGM over a conventional glucometer: instead of a few single measurements a day, you see the full picture of how your sugar levels change — how they are affected by food, physical activity, and insulin.

FreeStyle Libre or Dexcom — which to choose?

FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus and Libre 3 Plus from Abbott are a popular choice thanks to their compact size, accuracy, and automatic data transfer to your phone via Bluetooth. Dexcom G7 and G6 are valued for real-time alerts and integration with insulin pumps. If you are not sure which system is right for you, write to us — we will help you choose based on your experience and device.
