About Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)

CGM is a system that measures your glucose level around the clock using a sensor worn on the body, without routine finger pricks. The sensor transmits data to a smartphone or reader, showing your current level, graphs, and trends throughout the day.

A small sensor is attached to the back of the upper arm — thin and almost invisible under clothing. It measures glucose in the interstitial fluid every few minutes. Data is read by a smartphone app or a reader: the system shows the current level, stores history, and builds graphs so you can see how food, activity, and medication affect your sugar.

Mostly, no. But in certain situations (suspected hypoglycemia or a sharp rise) it’s worth checking your level with a classic glucometer. For this we have FreeStyle test strips.

The wear time depends on the model: sensors FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus and Libre 3 Plus — up to 15 days, Dexcom sensors (G6, G7, ONE+) — up to 10 days. After the session ends, the sensor is replaced with a new one.

Apps & Compatibility

Officially, the FreeStyle LibreLink and Dexcom apps are tied to the App Store / Google Play region and are unavailable in the Ukrainian region. There are two solutions: create an account with a UK region (UK Apple ID / UK Google Play) and install the app from there, or use a hardware reader, which doesn’t need a smartphone or app at all.

A reader is useful if you don’t want to deal with a foreign account or don’t have a compatible smartphone. It’s a standalone device that reads and displays your readings without an app — a convenient and reliable option for Ukraine. We carry readers for Libre 2, Libre 3 and Dexcom G7.

The FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor is officially compatible with the Omnipod 5 and Tandem t:slim X2 insulin pumps. The FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor is authorized only for the Tandem t:slim X2. Check out the Omnipod 5 system in our catalog.

Patches & Fixation

Patches aren’t required, but are highly recommended if you’re active, play sports, or swim — they secure the sensor for the full wear period and prevent it from peeling off early. We carry patches for all systems (Libre, Dexcom, Omnipod) from various brands — from budget film patches to premium Skin Grip. See our Accessories section.

Delivery is handled by Nova Poshta (1–3 days) or Ukrposhta (2–5 business days) to a branch or parcel locker. The cost follows the carrier’s rates and is paid by the buyer; a transfer fee applies for cash payment. Orders over 5000 UAH ship free. Yes, returns or exchanges are possible within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused and in its original condition (unopened box). More details in the Returns section.
