PPMAK patches for Libre are waterproof adhesive overlays that give the FreeStyle Libre 2 and 3 sensors extra hold on the skin. The key design feature is that there’s no adhesive right in the center of the patch, so removing it doesn’t pull on the sensor itself or risk detaching it before its service life is up.
Because there’s no glue at the center, the patch secures the sensor’s edges rather than sticking to the device itself, which means you can change the patch on its own without disturbing the sensor. The material is light and breathable, so it never feels like a heavy film on the skin, and the latex-free formula is hypoallergenic, lowering the risk of irritation even with long-term wear. It also feels soft and comfortable under clothing.
Applying the patch is simple thanks to its three-layer backing: the protective paper layers peel off one at a time, letting you position the patch accurately without help. Clean and dry the skin around the sensor first, remove the first paper layer, and place the patch so the sensor sits exactly in the center of the cutout. Each pack contains 40 patches, enough for extended everyday use.
