Warm-up is just 30 minutes, with wear up to 10 days (+12-hour grace period). Suitable for children and adults from age 2. Accuracy is MARD 8.2%, among the best of the available sensors.
Dexcom ONE+ is the value pick in the Dexcom range for those who want reliable round-the-clock glucose tracking without paying for extra features. Updates every 5 minutes, wear up to 10 days, readings without routine fingersticks.
Dexcom G6 is the previous generation with a separate transmitter (rated for 3 months) and a 2-hour warm-up. Still a reliable option, but gradually giving way to the G7.
Freestyle Libre 3 Plus is Abbott’s smallest sensor (over 70% smaller than Libre 2). It sends readings automatically every minute, with no scanning, and lasts up to 15 days. Ideal if you want the most discreet sensor possible with minimal interaction.
Freestyle Libre 2 Plus is Abbott’s more affordable sensor with the same wear time of up to 15 days and MARD 8.2% accuracy. Readings are available in the app, with optional high/low glucose alarms. A good balance of price and features.
