Hi friends!
Today we want to tell you about an interesting concept – delayed glucose in the blood. As you already know, most of the time the glucose level is the same throughout the blood. However, when the glucose level changes rapidly, such as after insulin administration or after exercise, the glucose level in whole blood does not match the glucose level in the interstitial fluid.
In order to better understand this concept, we have prepared a video for you.
In it, you will see how glucose in the blood and glucose in the intercellular fluid behave like train cars. We really hope this helps you better understand how your body works.
Thank you for staying with us!
