Fish and seafood are good for diabetics because:
- contain a lot of protein, vitamins and trace elements;
- capable of compensating part of the energy needs of the human body;

- contribute to lowering the level of bad cholesterol;
- allows you to maintain a normal weight.
Can you eat salted, smoked or canned fish? Undoubtedly, the consumption of such types of fish should be avoided. In case of diabetes, the use of low-fat varieties of fish is allowed: hake, cod, carp, pike, zander.
