Training for diabetes mellitus

Depending on your blood sugar readings and general health, you should make decisions about how to exercise with diabetes. These can be activities with light or moderate loads, for example, walking, cycling, swimming, dancing, yoga, pilates, sports games. 

Training for type 1 diabetes

Exercise is important for people with type 2 diabetes

Moderate exercise helps lower blood glucose levels. They increase the body’s sensitivity to insulin. Such an effect can last for a day after training.

  • has a positive effect on the work of the cardiovascular system, muscle strengthening and emotional state;
  • improves general well-being.
